TRY THE WEEDLESS HOOKS NEAR THOSE STUFF ... I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENED AND TO AN EXPENSIVE ONE TOO ... DAMAGE!!!

One of the best lures that I've found for both striper and bass topwater action is the LuckyCraft Sammy. A very versatile bait, fishes great when used with braided line for great action and a quick hookset. I'm on my 3rd one already, I lost one in some tules and the other my braided line snapped off at the eyelet.
