There are two reasons that this can happen: 1) You must have a DVD drive in your computer, this will not work with a CD drive. 2) If you want it to automatically startup when you insert the DVD then you must have autorun enabled.
Manual Start 1) Open "My Computer" 2) Right-click on the DVD drive that contains the schematics DVD, and select "Explore" 3) Within the explorer, double-click on the "index.html" file to start.
