7/17/2011- Pacific Books has joined us as a distributor for ReelSchematic books within Southern California.

7/1/2011- Boat Rental Center has offically been opened as a division of ReelSchematic.

4/12/2011- Cartridges coming in May, coming in May we will have both our BadFish Barracuda Grease and Pur-Tungsten Grease available in 14oz and 3oz cartridges to fit standard grease guns!

3/05/2011- Pro Staff Member Joel Hartman has fished professionally for the last 12 years both as a Pro and a co-angler and am currently President of Midwest Anglers Resource, a full line marketing company in the fishing industry with capabilities ranging from Radio and TV production to angler and tournament promotion. Joel has been involved in the marketing industry for the last ten years and have made promotional appearances at the Bassmaster Classic, Regional sports and boat shows, Bass Pro Spring Classic events along with his dedicated community involvement.

2/11/2011 - Copycat Inferior Products - We discovered that a very well known company down in australia was using our copyrighted content and was trying to pass our products off as their own discovery. We reacted quickly protecting our reputation and product lines, and the company removed all materials that had been illegally taken from our site. However, this tends to happen when a company makes a great product there will always be some unethical individuals that will try to falsely claim something as their own to profit money from customers using an inferior product. Remember to keep your eyes open, and if you ever have any doubts to the legitimacy of our products from anyone, please don't hesitiate to contact us.

1/29/2011 - SanDiego Anglers Open Bay Bass Tournament - ReelSchematic was a sponser and vendor at the 16th Annual SanDiego Anglers Open Bay Bass Tournament Event, held at Shelter Island in San Diego, CA. The event was excellent, we meet many great people and gave away over $2,000 worth of products to hundreds of anglers! This was our first event with SanDiego Anglers and I would like to thank Dwayne for making it a great success! The best part was watching the Pro-Staff Angler from Abu-Garcia in the booth next to us immediately go out to his truck, get his reel, and start breaking it down and using our Pur-Tungsten Lube right there on the spot!
