Q. Where do I send my Daiwa rod and reel for repair and service?
A. You may send your reel to any of Daiwa's Authorized Warranty Centers or to our North American Service Center. Please check the following link for the nearest Daiwa Service Center. You must send your rod directly to our North American Service Center:

Q. How do I file a warranty claim?
A. Daiwa will repair or replace without charge any Daiwa rod or reel which is defective in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of purchase by the consumer. Please retain your sales slip as proof of purchase date in the event warranty work becomes necessary. Please follow these instructions when returning rods or reels for warranty repair:

Enclose proof of purchase and a statement of warranty claim with nature of problem. Also, please list the model name and number of reel/rod and your return address.

To protect against loss or damage in transit, your reel/rod should be carefully packaged and adequately insured. Please retain all shipping receipts.

Q. How long does it normally take for repair?
A. The average turnaround time for warranty and chargeable repair once payment is received is approximately 3-5 working days. It may vary depending on seasonal demand.

Q. How much does a non-warranty repair cost and how do I pay for it?
A. In order to provide the cost of repair we must examine the product. Please follow these instructions when returning rods or reels for repair:
