  • Hyper Tough Clutch: The clutch mechanism has been re-engineered to be more durable and reliable, ensuring consistent engagement and disengagement cast after cast.  

Revolutionizing Casting Performance: SV Concept and T-Wing System

Daiwa’s Zillion reels are synonymous with exceptional casting performance, largely attributable to two groundbreaking technologies: the SV Concept (Stealth Value) and the T-Wing System (TWS).  

The SV Spool, often crafted from lightweight yet incredibly strong G1 Duralumin, is designed for versatility. It excels at managing a wide range of lure weights, from lightweight finesse offerings to heavier baits, minimizing backlash and maximizing casting distance. The latest advancement, the SV Boost system, is a two-stage magnetic braking system that intelligently applies the optimal braking force throughout the cast. This results in an even greater increase in casting distance, particularly in the latter phase of the cast, while maintaining the user-friendly, backlash-reducing characteristics of the original SV Concept. The Zero Adjuster feature typically means the mechanical spool brake is factory set for optimal performance, allowing anglers to focus primarily on the magnetic dial for casting control.  

Complementing the SV system is the revolutionary T-Wing System (TWS). This innovative line guide features a T-shaped aperture that allows line to flow more freely during the cast, reducing friction and the sharp line angles that can hinder distance and accuracy with traditional level-wind systems.
